Providing arrival and destination points
The departure and arrival points can be specified in three ways
- By entering a station name: In the text field below Departure or Destination labels you can insert a station name.
When a valid station name is provided or selected from the dropdown list, a marker will be automatically added on the map.
- By placing a marker on the map: In order to put a marker, click on the icon near the text field with the Departure/Destination label, then click on the desired location on the map.
The marker can be moved to another place by drag-and-drop.
- By placing a marker at the GPS position of the user: This type of marker can be placed on the map with a click on the find me link.
If a valid position is found, it will be marked on the map. The position of the marker can be changed by drag-and-drop.
If needed, there are other options for configuring the routes such as type: direct or fast.
For the results to be computed, press the Search button. Shortly, the routes will be generated.
Visualizing the results
After being generated, a summary of each route will be added in the list of the results.
The routes will be shown in the order of their efficiency, from the best to the least efficient.
After clicking on a route summary, the detailed steps will appear and the path will be drawn on the map.
